When it comes to social media, one of the cardinal rules is not to share content that isn't yours. This includes things like photos, videos, and quotes. Not only is it plagiarism, but it can also be a violation of copyright law. If you're sharing someone else's content without asking them first, you can get into a lot of trouble and have to pay fines or even have your account taken away for violating social media community guidelines.
I work with wine, food, and hospitality brands on positioning and message. I hold multiple titles at once: Product Marketing, Brand Strategy, Writer, and Children’s Book Author.
I’ve spent years in social media and content, teaching it, building it, running it for clients. My focus has changed, mostly because social media marketing has changed.
Most teams don’t need more content. They need clarity on what they’re trying to say and how to best say it.
I also run workshops and share what I’ve learned with teams who want to get better at this without adding more noise.
