The second day of Summer 2014 and I spent it wandering the West End Farmers Market in downtown Santa Rosa - just as they first opened.. Just to get the best produce (and pictures).
Today marked their one year anniversary of the market, that runs from 10a -2p every Sunday through Summer. The timing is perfect because it allows for lazy Sunday lunchtime picnics on the grass while listening to live music. With the amount of food venders at the market - it is definitely a place to visit if you are craving something unique to eat!
Each week seems to have a different vender making sandwiches, omelettes, burritos, etc.
