Gift List for Wine Lovers in your Life
Considering I have been a lover of wine for 15+ years, I can safely say I have received my fair share of wine gifts for Christmas and my Birthday. Here are a few of my favorite gifts for you to give to your friends and family... Oh, and make sure to include a bottle of Napa or Sonoma wine to go along with the gift (they may share if you are nice).
-- Below are affiliate links, but I totally vouch for all these products! --
For the friend who is a part of a few wine clubs:
Anyone who has more than 6 bottles of wine stored on their kitchen counter or their main fridge definitely needs one or five of these wine fridges. A great gift for craft beer lovers as well.
Shop a Magic Chef 28-Bottle Wine Cooler in Black on Home Depot.
For the newly engaged couple:
Every new couple needs something a bit fancy to make them feel more like adults (I speak from experience of getting married at 33...) This simple wine glass and decanter set with a bottle of Sonoma or Napa Wine makes a great gift.
Shop Riedel Ouverture Magnum For Two Wine Set on Amazon.
For the friend who loves to drink in the movie theater:
You know you have seen this being shared on Facebook. And maybe you even shared it with your best friend... Well, why not buy this gift and a pair of movie tickets and test it out.
Shop PortoVino Wine Purse on Amazon.
For the friend who likes showing off:
For those friends who always host dinner parties at their house -- this is the perfect gift that is fun for any event (okay, wait.. Not kids birthday parties). Sabering a bottle of bubbly gets the night started off with a *POP*
Shop Champagne Saber Sword on Amazon.
For your new mom friend:
A perfect baby shower gift.. The gift of something for mama instead of JUST baby clothes. She will definetly be reaching for a glass of wine after getting the baby to sleep once he/she comes.
Shop "This is Probably Wine" Gold Travel Mug on Esty.
For the friend who can never finish their wine (wait, is that such a thing?):
This is a gift that doesn't really look like much, but it has been one of the most used wine gadgets in our kitchen. My husband and I like large format sour beers, but we don't like drinking a whole bottle, so we use these all the time. Pair with a bottle of wine for a useful gift!
Shop The Original Vacu Vin Wine Saver with 2 Vacuum Stoppers.
For your mom who only seems to have the really old wine bottle opener:
If you mom is ANYTHING like my mom or my mother-in-law, they have a super old wine opener from the 80's. Here is a gift to help push them into 2018 (maybe even get an Amazon Echo along with it and watch as they constantly ask for your help on how to use it).
Shop Professional Waiter's Corkscrew on Wayfair.
That one friend who will only drink rosé wine:
This Millennial Pink trend isn't going away anytime soon. Thankfully rosés are delicious, in addition to being a gorgeous pink color. Grab your friend this shirt and a bottle of Sonoma Rosé of Pinot Noir.
Shop Yes Way Rose, Racerback Tank Top on Amazon.
Sonoma or Napa wines.
Right now, any bottle of a wine from Sonoma or Napa Valley would help the wine communities that have been hurt by the October 2017 fires. Even better, a vacation to Sonoma County would brighten up anyone's stocking.
For the friend that likes a glass while sitting back on the couch watching Netflix:
For the friend who spills a lot:
I have been following Elysia Myers on Instagram for a few months, and I have fallen in love with these paintings. YES, they are made with real wine and she mixes rosés, white wines and red wines to make gorgeous and very original works of art.
Shop Original wine painting on paper from the artist, Elysia Myers Wine Art.
