The rise of misinformation and disinformation on social media is a major threat to our society and democracy. With Elon Musk now in charge of Twitter, the problem is only getting worse. This blog post explores various strategies for fighting against the spread of “Fake news” on social media, including advocating for stronger policies from social media platforms and holding our leaders accountable for their roles in the public narrative.
I work with wine, food, and hospitality brands on positioning and message. I hold multiple titles at once: Product Marketing, Brand Strategy, Writer, and Children’s Book Author.
I’ve spent years in social media and content, teaching it, building it, running it for clients. My focus has changed, mostly because social media marketing has changed.
Most teams don’t need more content. They need clarity on what they’re trying to say and how to best say it.
I also run workshops and share what I’ve learned with teams who want to get better at this without adding more noise.
