No-Bake Energy Balls.

Ingredients:

1/2 cup creamy almond butter (or peanut butter) 1/3 cup honey 1 tsp vanilla 1 cup old-fashioned oats (raw) 1/2 cup ground flaxseed (or chai seed, or hemp seed) 6 Tbsp chocolate chips (mini prefered)

1/4 cup nuts (crushed cashews, walnuts or almonds)

Directions:

  1. In a mixing bowl, stir together almond butter, honey and vanilla.
  2. Add remaining ingredients and stir until evenly coated.
  3. Transfer mixture to refrigerator or freezer and chill until set (makes it easier to handle).
  4. Remove from refrigerator and shape into 1-inch balls.

Additions: The great thing about this no-bake recipe is that you can edit the ingredients to include your favorite healthy items. Add a handful of coconut, different types of nuts, or change up your sugerfood seeds - ground flaxseed, whole hemp seed.
