Gift Ideas for Social Media Marketers
As a social media marketer, I am always on the lookout for new toys or tools to play with when it comes to creating content on an ongoing basis.
Since most of my work in social media comes down to creating content for the brands I work with (as well as myself) and most of that has to do with creating images for Instagram I wanted to share what toys and tools I use to create this content.

I think I talk about using a kitchen timer and a day planner more than anything else on my blog — but for good reason. This Panda Planner has monthly, weekly and daily goals and I LOVE it to track my tasks and to remind me of what matters in life. If you had heard one of my in-person speaking engagements, you have remembered that I have talked about my love for a regular kitchen timer for business many times. This simple tool is ideal to keep marketers from going down a rabbit hole while engaging on social media. Just set a 15-minute timer 2x a day and engage with your community. Having this kitchen timer means you can’t simply ignore the timer (like you can on your phone).

This silly selfie frame can be customized for your business (or even for a specific event) and it is a fun way for your customers to take photos and get some branding when they share! If you have a brick & mortar company you can keep this and bring it out during events, or keep it in your tasting room every day. If you are an eCommerce brand, bring it out when you head to events! This portable LED light may sound like a silly gift. But trust me, it isn't JUST for selfies. Use this rechargeable light as a white light source for on the go. Especially great for getting some light on your photography subject when you are indoors.
Transcend 16 GB Wi-Fi Memory Card
Much of my Instagram photos for myself and clients I am creating photography content for comes from my Canon Mark 3 camera, with photos transferred to my phone directly from my WIFI SD card. It is great for photoshoots when I don't have access to my laptop and want to share photos in real time (which I do when I am sharing photos to Instagram Stories).
Kelly Moore Libby Fashionable Camera Bag
I have had three different Kelly Moore bags over the years and this one is by far my favorite. In fact, it held my Canon Mark 3 AND diapers when Ryeson was a baby. yup, a camera bag and diaper bag in ONE. It is true.

A tripod holder is always needed for when you want to shoot video. This one comes with a remote and extension if you happen to want to take selfies as well (fun fact: brands that share selfie images in their Instagram stories do well.. Something about humanizing your brand).
Sony Mirrorless Camera
Anytime someone asks me which camera I use to take photos for Instagram, I pull my Sony Powershot out of my small purse. This is a great camera for those that need a small camera for their purse, or don’t want to spend a ton of money on a larger DSLR (great for vacations also).
